Inter Milan v Slavia Praha
Betting suggestion: Inter Milan AH -1 @2,12 Pinnacle
Short preview: Will Inter Milan with Antonio Conte return on the winning ways? 3 wins in 3 matches in Serie A are definitely something Inter fans weren’t used to see lately, same goes with the current position on the league table (1.). In the season opener, they destroyed Lecce with 4-0, then won in Cagliari with 1-2 and in the last match they were better than Udinese with 1-0. In this match, they had a player more and dozens of chances, but were unable to convert the chance into the goal. Today’s opponent is not unknown in European football, as they made some surprises in past years, beating much more known opponents… In their domestic league, they are comfortable in the first place, with 3 points advantage from Viktoria Plzen on second, and 7 points in front of Mlada Boleslav in third place. They won their last match with 3-0 and are coming in Milano to upset the giant of Italian football. Without doubt, nowadays the level of football in Europe is that high, that everyone can beat everyone if they catch them on the wrong foot. All in all, there should be a huge difference in quality, as Inter at least to me looks much more serious team with Conte on the bench. They made some good signings with Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez, Sensi started playing very good and Conte’s 3-men defense tactics seems to suit this team with Asamoah on one side and Lazaro or Candreva on the other. Odds on Inter -1 jumped really high, and at this point, they represent value to me. There are some rumors that Conte might rotate, but I think that he will take this match very seriously as he is well aware of Slavia’s surprises in recent seasons…
Borussia Dortmund v Barcelona
Betting suggestion: Both teams to score & over 2,5 @1,70 Pinnacle
Short preview: that will be the meeting of two teams, who are extremely powerful offensively, but having difficulties with keeping the clean sheet. After 4 rounds in Bundesliga, BVB has goal difference 13:5 (which means 4,5 goals per match). On the other side, Barcelona after 4 rounds 12:7 (which means 4,75 goals per match). Someone might say: “yes, but the match in the champions league is something completely different than in domestic cup, where they play against weaker opponents. That might be the truth, but it’s also true that they really rarely play against the team who is as good offensively as their today’s opponent. Of course, both teams will try to start a bit cautious, as the first match in group stage always counts a lot, but more we will go in the game, more open those two will play and with individuals they have, I think we will see goals in this fixture. Messi will most likely miss the first UCL match of Barcelona but doesn’t change my opinion about this match.
