Norway v Serbia

Short preview: Scandinavians were usually known as tough, physical teams, for who keeping the clean sheet was somehow the goal number 1, but things are slightly changing with the new generations of players. Nowadays, with young stars like Haaland, Odegaard, Sorloth, they changed a lot and they want to keep the ball, and play offensive football. In the last match they completely outplayed Northern Ireland on their Windsor Park in Belfast and beat them with 1-5. We’ve seen two goals from both forwards Sorloth and Haaland, while the first goal came from Celtic’s Elyounoussi. Serbia on the other hand, started the competition with the defeat against Russia (3-1), and a draw against Turkey at home (0-0). I think that the national coach of Serbia Tumbaković knows very well, that going in Oslo with defensive oriented squad, keeping the clean sheet and scoring a winning goal isn’t a solution, as Norway will press higher and try to force their style so I believe they worked a lot on how to exploit weaknesses of Norwegians and with individuals like Tadić, Radonjić, Mitrović, Milinković-Savić, Kostić, … I believe they will score at least once. Even though Serbs have one of the best goalkeepers of Ligue 1 last season in Rajković, I think that “flying” Norwegians will score at least a goal here. Moreover, even the form of Rajković isn’t as high as it was the last season, as he already conceded 10 goals in first 6 rounds. In general, even though the importance of the match is huge, I simply can not see any of these two teams keeping the clean sheet, and I expect goals. I do have a feeling that Serbs will have to score at least once, if not twice to take anything from Oslo.
