Lille v Sparta Prague

Short preview: Galtier is one of the coaches that I respect the most in Ligue 1, and seeing the lineup against Saint-Etienne in the last round of Ligue 1, where Lille played 1-1, it was obvious that he was seriously thinking about this match with Sparta, where Lille can “book” the ticket for the next phase of Europa League with the win and will therefore travel to Scotland without any pressure. Except injured Sanches and Çelik, Galtier has the whole group ready for this match and we will most likely see Bamba, Yazici, David, and some other coming back to the first lineup. Even though Sanches is unavailable, Galtier can chose between Andre, Xeka and Soumaoro in the central midfield. I believe he will leave Andre in the starting lineup even though he started against Saint-Etienne, as he is probably the most important player in the midfield. Even without him, that doesn’t really change the fact that I would be aiming for Lille to make the difference early in the game as the opposite manager – Vaclav Kotal has plenty of problems with injuries. He can not count on Celustka, Sacek, Hlozek, Hozak and Stetina. They switched to 352 formation recently, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them lined up in this formation today, but Lille should have the upper hand in this match, no matter what. They are in a good form, they got the important point against Milan in the last match and they already destroyed Sparta Prague in the first match (1-4), even though it’s true that they had a player more on the pitch from the 23rd minute on. Sparta aren’t in the best form at the moment, as they lost 2 matches in the start of November – against Budejovice and Plzen, and lost the first place in the league. In the last round of Czech 1. Liga, they won only 0-1 against 15th placed Teplice, with the goal of Juliš in 65th minute.
